Why do I see this banner?
One common form of a phishing attack is when a cybercriminal pretends to be someone you know and tries to trick you into transferring money into a fake account or stealing your credentials for insidious purposes. The BC Email Security anti phishing software can recognize those malicious attempts and provide an in-mail banner notification.
What should I do when the email looks suspicious?
Use the Phish Alert button to report any suspicious emails directly from your inbox. Once a suspicious email is reported, the information security team will be notified and review the report. If the email is found to be malicious, they will trigger an automated rapid response to quarantine the attack. Do not click or delete the email.
